Privacy Policy

IndustryHub is built privacy-first. This policy explains exactly what data is collected, where it goes, and what we do — and don't do — with it.

Effective date: January 1, 2026  ·  Last updated: February 2026

The short version: IndustryHub collects almost no data about you. There is no account system, no server-side database, and no tracking beyond basic anonymous analytics. All tool data (income records, DMCA logs, preferences) lives only in your browser's localStorage on your device. It never leaves your computer.

01

Who We Are

IndustryHub is a free resource hub for adult content creators. This site ("IndustryHub," "we," "us," or "our") provides tools including a platform comparison database, income tracker, equipment guide, DMCA management tool, studio builder, and industry news aggregator.

IndustryHub is a static website — it has no server-side application logic, no user accounts, and no backend database. This fundamentally limits the amount of data that can be collected.

02

03

Browser LocalStorage (Your Tool Data)

Most IndustryHub tools — the Income Tracker, DMCA Dashboard, Studio Builder preferences, equipment budget planner, and Studio Setup checklist — store data locally in your browser using the Web Storage API (localStorage).

What this means for you:

  • Your data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to IndustryHub or any server.
  • No one can access it but you. It is sandboxed to your browser and not accessible to other websites or services.
  • It persists between sessions until you clear your browser data or use a different device/browser.
  • It is not backed up. If you clear your browser storage, your tool data is permanently lost. Consider exporting income data periodically.

How to clear your data:

You can clear all IndustryHub localStorage data by opening your browser's developer tools (F12), going to Application → Local Storage → your IndustryHub domain, and deleting the entries. Or clear all localStorage via your browser's privacy settings.

Privacy note: Because your tool data never reaches IndustryHub, we cannot delete it on your behalf. Data deletion is entirely within your own control via your browser settings.
04

Third-Party Services

IndustryHub uses a small number of third-party services. Below is a complete list:

Google Fonts

We load fonts (Bebas Neue, DM Sans, DM Mono) from Google Fonts. Google may collect standard HTTP log data including your IP address when fonts are requested. See Google's Privacy Policy.

allorigins.win (News Page)

The News page uses the allorigins.win free proxy to fetch RSS feeds from third-party publications. Your request passes through allorigins.win, which may log requests. We do not control their logging practices. See the allorigins.win project for details.

whoismyrepresentative.com (Advocacy Page)

The Advocacy page optionally queries whoismyrepresentative.com to look up your US elected representatives by ZIP code. This is an optional action you initiate — if you use this feature, your ZIP code is sent to this third-party API. They are a free public API with no known data retention policy beyond standard HTTP logging.

Anthropic API (Studio Builder AI Assistant)

If you use the AI assistant in the Studio Builder, your questions are sent directly to Anthropic's API using your personal API key. This communication is between your browser and Anthropic — IndustryHub is not involved. See the AI Assistant section and Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

Affiliate Platform Networks

Affiliate links to third-party platforms (Chaturbate, Stripchat, Lovense, etc.) use tracking links operated by the affiliate network or platform. Clicking these links may set cookies or tracking parameters on the destination platform's site. IndustryHub does not control these tracking practices.

06

AI Assistant (Studio Builder)

The Studio Builder page includes an optional AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude API. This feature requires you to provide your own Anthropic API key.

How it works:

  • Your API key is stored only in your browser's localStorage — it is never sent to IndustryHub.
  • When you submit a question, your question is sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's API servers using your key.
  • IndustryHub does not see, store, or log your questions or Anthropic's responses.
  • Your API usage is governed by Anthropic's terms and privacy policy.
  • You are responsible for the costs of your own API usage (approximately $0.001 per question on the Haiku model).
To remove your API key from this site, click "Remove key" in the Studio Builder, or clear your browser localStorage. Once removed, no further API calls can be made through IndustryHub.

For details on how Anthropic handles your data, see Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

07

Cookies

IndustryHub does not set any first-party cookies. We do not use cookies for authentication, tracking, or personalization.

Third-party services loaded by IndustryHub (Google Fonts, affiliate link destinations) may set their own cookies according to their respective privacy policies. You can control or block third-party cookies through your browser settings.

Browser localStorage (used by our tools) is not a cookie — it is not transmitted with HTTP requests and is not accessible to other websites.

08

Your Rights

Because IndustryHub collects almost no personal data, most data rights requests do not apply in the traditional sense. Specifically:

  • Right to access: We hold no personal data about you on our end to provide.
  • Right to deletion: Your tool data exists only in your browser — you delete it by clearing your browser localStorage. We cannot delete it for you because we never receive it.
  • Right to portability: Export your income data using the export function in the Income Tracker.
  • Right to object to affiliate tracking: Do not click affiliate links. Use direct platform URLs instead.

If you are in the European Union, your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply where we process any personal data. If you are in California, your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) apply. Given the minimal data we hold, these rights are largely satisfied by design.

To exercise any rights or raise concerns, contact us at the address in Section 12.

09

Data Security

IndustryHub is served over HTTPS. There is no server-side database, no login system, and no server holding your personal data — which means there is nothing to breach on our end.

Your localStorage data is as secure as your own device. We recommend:

  • Using a private/incognito browser window if using IndustryHub on a shared device
  • Clearing browser data before sharing access to your computer
  • Treating your Anthropic API key as sensitive — don't share it or store it outside a password manager
10

Children's Privacy

IndustryHub is intended solely for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18. The platform, tools, and content on this site are designed for adult professionals.

If you believe someone under 18 has accessed this site in a way that requires our attention, please contact us using the information in Section 12.

11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without clear notice.

Your continued use of IndustryHub after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with a change, you should discontinue using the site.
